Fellowship among Christians is a biblical principle.  If we do not spend time together as believers so that we can encourage, disciple, befriend, help, and share truth with one another then we are not taking advantage of the great opportunities that God wants us to experience.  The simple truth is that neither Crosshaven (nor any other church) can do that for people.  Christians have to want to invest in one another's lives.  We have to see, understand, and desire the benefit of a united community of believers.  When those who don't know Christ see that we genuinely love and care for each other then they see something real and tangible.  In fact, they see a picture of who Christ is and what He is about.

While we can't make people fellowship together, Crosshaven encourages a friendly, inviting atmosphere (we don't want church to be stuffy - it is not about what you wear and who you know, it is all about what is in your heart).  We even plan events (community outreach nights, park outings, cookouts, Bible Study class parties, retreats, etc...) for the sole purpose of giving folks a chance to spend time together.

So many times people get lost in the shuffle at church because they don't get to know people and are never encouraged.  Our goal is that this would not be the case at Crosshaven.
